What each status means
- ValidThe email and password are correct and the account is active.
- Valid · password expiredThe password is correct, but it has expired and must be changed at next sign-in.
- Valid · MFA enabledThe password is likely correct, but multi-factor authentication (MFA) is enabled, so it cannot be fully confirmed.
- LockedThe account is temporarily locked (e.g. too many sign-in attempts). The password may still be correct.
- Wrong passwordThe account exists, but the password is incorrect.
- Account not foundNo such account exists — the email is wrong or not in this directory.
- Account disabledThe account exists but has been disabled by the administrator.
- UnknownThe status could not be determined (temporary error or rate limit). Please try again later.
- Invalid formatThe line could not be read as email + password. Check the format shown above the box.
What each status means

- ValidLogin succeeded — the account's product(s) and subscription status are shown.
- Wrong passwordThe account exists, but the password is incorrect.
- Account not foundNo such account exists — the email is wrong or not in this directory.
- Valid · MFA enabledThe password is likely correct, but multi-factor authentication (MFA) is enabled, so it cannot be fully confirmed.

- Microsoft 365 FamilyA product/license assigned to the account, with its subscription status and renew/expire date.
- No subscription on this accountThe login works, but no Microsoft 365 product/license is assigned to this account.
- The subscription is a trial.
- The date the subscription renews or expires.
